Can anyone please please show me a pic with a 2nd gen that has clear taillights? I want to see what this looks like, how much I like it, etc. I'd really appreciate it. And if possible, if anyone is nice enough to spend the time doing it I'd really really appreciate it, could you take a pic of the brake on and a turn signal? I'm iffy about dropping the cash but if it looks bangin I'll have to drop it. Thanks a lot.

This is with the lights on in the day time. Keep in mind they are a lot brighter in the day time with the brake lights on so visibility isn't a problem, as long as you have good red bulbs. The cheep ones they came with burned off in a month.

So on a side note, I get a ton of complements on cardomain and on the street but a lot of they guys on this forum seem to have a negative opinion about them. Personally I think they look sweet on black or white runners and a few other dark colors.

I was looking at getting them off of ebay but the only ones on there are 99. People are telling me they got them at around 50. Where would you suggest?
Questions: I see the brake lights still show red and the turn signal is still yellow, but the pics confused me a bit. From the top pic I'd think the turn signal was on top and then the brake light on bottom, but from the bottom pic it almost looks upside down. Is it just me?

I don't think you can get the 2nd gen ones any more. They sold the last of the new ones on ebay back around 2002. For a while, there were a lot of 4runners in Bend Or with them but now I am the only one in town cus nobody can get them any more.

I got mine on Ebay about 1 year ago for $50.00 Havent seen them since... And yeah the bulbs SUCK. they lasted about 3 months.

Hey Miles, Not for Long buddy.....I've been wanting those for the longest and eventually I'm gonna get 'em. Then there will be 2 of us with 'em in Bend.
hey Mike, that custom convertible is wild. I'm just curious, did you buy it that way? Or did you have that done special, and if so, did a tree fall on it or something to give you the nudge in that direction? Either way it's ahead of it's time and as such I think it's 2 cool.

Yotafool, Did you paint the inside or outside of the lense?

Just the outsides and they are completely red when my blinkers are on. You see no orange at all at any time. I've had some people with 2nd gen 4runners ask me if they were aftermarket. You can only see the paint streeks if you get really close and it still doesnt look that bad. I also did a half fast job on it but still looks good.
