Parts transfer question

Would it be possible (and fairly easy) to transfer the all of the cruise control and A/C components from a 92 4x4 to an 89 4x4? Would it be as simple as just pulling the parts and installing or is there anything involved with the ECU?

Thanks.

The electrical connectors may be different, thats what i found upon rerofitting a 95 system into a 90. Try to get both ends of the connectors if you can then you can splkce where you need to. The rest should be okay though.

Since I have the entire truck the system will be coming out of, hopefully it will be much easier. Thanks guys.

Well, I got an answer to my questions to update this. The A/C swapped across no problems, but the Cruise is a different story. It appears my 89 doesn't have the same wiring harness as the 92 and therefore I can't plug the wires from the steering wheel into anything. Ah well. I'd rather the A/C anyway

Aftermarket cruise controls are under a hundred bucks.

I'm not really worried about it. I figured since I had a parts truck it was worth the time, but I am not paying for aftermarket cruise, just not worth the $.
