Mac?

Will not work on a MAC unless you have a new INTEL based machine, then it might. Worth a try. I'm gonna try to burn the CD's this week and check it out. Nothing to lose with the price of CD's! Brad

I got mine working just fine. The problem is that the program is quite old and runs into problems when installed in the newer hard drives out there. It must be installed on a nearly clean drive or a very small one. Any drive with more than 2GB of material on it is perceived as "full" and the program won't finish the install nor run. As such, I have an old 3GB drive I picked up cheap with the program on it.

I don't know if I'm talking gibberish or not, but what about partitioning a drive specifically for the FSM?

That works too. It just has to be installed on a drive that has less than 2GB of stuff on it. The drive/partition can be larger but if there's more than 2GB of files the program sees the drive as full and unable to install fully. Once fully installed and set up, the drive can be loaded up with other stuff and the program will still run.

Yeah that EPC 1 & 2, they work with the partitioning and everything, but if you have a 3rd gen, it'll be little use to you, but it sure is a cool toy.

Sad thing is that dealers now a days have a ton of programs to do part lookups and whatnot. There are so many online catalogs out there if you have a dealer login, it's not even funny.

And as time goes on, offline catalogs will become less and less availble. So use them while you can

I thought this might be a good place to post that I just got the January 2007 Toyota Lexus Worldwide Parts DVD. I also have been able to make it run on just about any windows PC. It is the program and database that all Toyota and Lexus dealers use as the reference for all part information for all Toyota and Lexus cars from 1968 thru 2007.

If you are interested let me know.
