Parts!!
I have used the search function on the site to find places online to buy OEM parts or good quality parts. There are some sites I found but the threads were from 2007-08 and the websites aren’t there anymore so I was just wondering if there are some more recently updated sites for parts!

Hey mate, I only joined this forum yesterday and already found somewhere to source parts.- www.amayama.com
They do original OEM parts for many makes and models. If you are looking for 4Runner parts there does not seem to be too much available, however the first generation Toyota Hilux Surf is virtually identical to the north american 4Runner - although they are right hand drive so you need to make sure that the part you need is universal between left and right hand drive models.
4Runner parts: https://www.amayama.com/en/catalogs/toyota/4runner
Hilux Surf parts: https://www.amayama.com/en/catalogs/toyota/hilux-surf
There are helpful pictures of most models to help you out. Good luck and I hope you can find what you are looking for.

I use Amayama to research. Their website is useful, plus they'll give you there price. On certain items, like bearings, they'll give you alternatives. A good example would be the fairly common rear axle bearing, 90363-40020. They'll quote you the OEM part at $35.00(the cheapest in USA I've found is $65) but also give you a Koyo bearing price at $10.00.
One other nice feature, as you add parts to your Amayama cart they'll show the shipping cost, so if something is too much you can see which part jacked your freight charge and delete it if you want.
They're not always half as much(or less) than a US retailer, so I always check. Often they are, but every now and than not so much.
Sometimes Amayama will shows parts from Japan or UAE. The OEM parts are the same, but I've found I get parts quicker from the Japan supplier.
One last tidbit. I've seen a oem part listed as discontinued on a USA website, but Amayama will show it available. From my few attempts to order those parts I've gotten a fairly quick reply from Amayama saying that the part wasn't available afterall. So if it shows discontinued in the USA it's pretty safe Toyota just doesn't have it anywhere. But you can always try. If you try and order and they can't get it they refund quickly.
If you're ever looking for Toyota grade wiring terminals I highly recommend Eastern Beaver. He's an Australian living in Japan who restores motorcycles. He's got a great source for the Yazaki terminals at a very fair price. The heavy gauge brass is just 1000% better than the flimsy junk you typically see. And Yazaki is a supplier to Toyota. The connectors are open barrel, so you need a special crimper, but it so much better. It does the U-crimp at both the wire and at the insulation, so much stronger.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I typically use rockauto.com, but since moving to Colorado this is no longer an option. Colorado has some crazy tax laws and Rockauto chooses not to participate and thus will not ship to Colorado. For those who like Rockauto, do you have any similar alternatives? I recently used autopartsway.com and am pretty damn unhappy with the experience.

Once you have a part # and want to make sure it is correct along with a good picture/diagram, this Japanese-based site is great:

If a part is no longer available at an online dealer or on eBay, you might get lucky with this site: https://www.megazip.net/
