My friend your journey simply begins with a simple google search

Try. Wabfab or wabfab review. Or perhaps wabfab ripoff
Complaints on every forum related to toyotas period

Go to bbb.com and search his business

My suspicion is he plays games with the customers money and that would explain the constant delays. Oh crap house payment due, ill just use joebobs money and delay his order. Oh no kid needs shoes this guy wont cause too much trouble. 3 months is no big deal. He is robbing peter to pay paul so to speak.

You cant swing a dead cat on the internet without hitting a wabfab ripoff story.

What do you have to say Brian? Why do you think you are bulletproof here on yotatech?

I had a bad experience with Wabfab too. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received. Apparently there is a website/forum dedicated to all the people hes ripped off and their stories.

I hear a gallows is being constructed
Wabbit has supplied the rope.

Who will pull the lever?

Maybe we will but we have to wait 3 weeks then send a few emails and then wait for it to ship from TG!

Actually, I ordered a couple of things at the same time from 2 different companies to test the waters with them, both drop shipped from TG, the package from :wabbit2:showed up a week after the other. My account was charged at the same time with both companies, the issue is not Trail Gear.

I always order something small to see how it goes before I dive in, this vendor went smooth but took forever and I decided not to deal with him. I don't have any issue with him, he does get defensive in posts about his company and products, but I think if you got a large order from someone who has plenty of reviews on here and other sites and you are disappointed because things are going the way they did for others, you have no one else to blame but yourself.

Honestly..not really having a dog in this fight, I would like to add .02.
I used to come to this site for all my reading on my 93 4runner. After some time I thought Wab was the best deal, being a small business and I like supporting small businesses. I posted on his thread about hub rebuilding and replacing lost parts and stuff..his response was read his site, which cool, I can do but the way he said it was very rude.
I also stopped coming here because all the forum updates are for his threads..and he has a TON of them.

I caught a temp ban from him because he didn't like something I fabricated for my truck. I complained about the heavy handed ban and he permabanded me. I emailed Corey and never heard back so I took that as he didn't care. I have to take a beating on "another site" to get my answers now and sneak in here from time to time to get real down to earth info.
He continually screws customers over, then cusses them out and laughs at them. He runs a crappy business and is a complete dick as a moderator.
Crap, now I will probably be banded for outing myself. Gawddamn you wabbit!!!!

Hmm, seems like I'm the only person to have a decent experience buying from him.

I've placed 2 orders with Wab Fab in the past 5 years and neither had any real issue. I had to PM him to get the ball rolling on the last order but he had just gotten back from a vacation or something so I figured he was just backed up a little.

I hope everything works out for the OP and anyone else who is owed. I can't say I didn't see this coming though after everything I have read about his business practices in the last few years.

Red face

Yes I also had a issue with a clutch really funny and sad i don`t remember how long it took.

After two weeks I ordered the same clutch from trailgear less then 5 days it was at my door.

if it was not for Jon doing the wiring for the Project vehicle I had done it would have not been possible .

I could tell which work he did because it was not as good as the rest.

It was a Adventure for sure when the battery pulled loosed from being just hooked into the sheet metal and hit the fan.

Rumor has it, you're about to be tossed off pirate for trying to play two boards against each other with this nonsense you just made up.

You wanna guess which rumor has more truth to it?

Regardless of what WabFab has or has not done right, THIS is the only post I will address.

Pitting two boards against each other and cross posting trying to further your own agenda is a quick way to get banned. Whether Pirate likes us or not is irrelevant, nor our opinion of them. What does matter is trying to create a board war between the two boards to try and create more negative posts.

Hilux, you shouldn't presume to know what any board will do ever. And if you have no part of this transaction, you shouldn't even be posting in this thread.

I am closing this thread and leaving it in view for now, until we can get the issue resolved. This way no one thinks we are "playing favorites" or whatever else nonsense people decide to come up with. When the OP and Wabbit come to a resolution, it will be posted here.
