part number for rear shock bolt
truck.. 92 4runner
anticipating the drama i'll encounter overcoming the rust and 15 year old crud my upcoming OME 901/shock install will bring me, i went to the dealer and ordered up all the hardware i'd need for the install.
i picked up the order today and thought that the shock bolts seem pretty short.. now, while i am new to toyota's (and trucks in general), i am not new to working on vehicles. the bolts i received are like an inch long. this can't be right.
is there a threaded shaft that runs thru the bottom of the shock to which this "short" bolt attaches, or is it just a long bolt that runs thru the shock?
here is the part number i received..
9169-g1220 part# lookup on trdparts just tells me that it's a "bolt w/washer"
Can anyone confirm this for me?
BTW the diagram at the dealer wasn't too clear, hence the confusion here..
sorry for the long post.
thanks for your help.

Thats the correct length. The shock actually mounts to a stud welded on to the axle tube, and the 1" bolt/washer just keeps it from slipping off the end of that stud.
