Painted my alloy rims black! (Pics)

I finally did it!! Spent most of the day using my sand blaster and blasting the heck out 3 of 5 the alloy rims. That was the worst part. Sand everywhere and my wife is not happy. Doesn't matter, I am happy. That is all that counts.
Here are some pictures, one side with alloy and the other with the new paint.
let me know what you think.

Nice. I have those same wheels, I was wondering how it would look. Plus, my clear coat is all cracked. Looks like you used a flat paint? Did you use any primer?

or look to red, like your hubs. a highlighting color would set off the black.

I will probably pull the hubs off, rebuild them and then paint them entirely black, Tomorrow I am pulling the door handles and locks off and sand blasting or sanding and also painting them black. I might even pull off the turn signals and paint that chrome as well. Shackles? Yeah I will paint those too. Lug nuts? Yeah, I will probably have to get some black ones as well.
See ya.

Sorry for not elaborating, I ment taking them off. You should know that they are plastic, and the best thing would be to buy the black ones off eBay, because the contsant handeling will cause the paint to wear off (oil from your finger prints). unless you use Krylon fusion, but IMO just buy the black ones.

My truck is a 1987 22ret, when I removed everything to have it painted I could have sworn they were metal. Do the newer years have plastic or are these handles just plastic with chrome paint on them. Cause if they are plastic I aint messin with them.

Follow my instructions for the fender flare mod (painting them black in the tech section). Same deal with wheels. Prep, paint, coat.
