You have no idea how tempting this!!! I mean really...If I would not get into sooooo much trouble (like if I were still single) I'd make the ride and bring a buddy!!! But I'm not, so I can't I have the boy here as well...but wait he can drive me...why not he's 11, gotta learn sometime right???

when i did mine , we took a piece of scrap sheet metal around 12"x8" and in the center welded an ols socket on it. Then took the foot off of my floor jack and replaced it with the newly made plate and strapped the tranny to it for a makeshift tranny jack

Well that's just what I didn't have...but I was able to get it done with what I had. The hardest part was the last 2" to get them together. I had it out cleaned and up without help...My help showed up just in time to get the last push to get them together.

It's holding great!!! So much more better that it was.

Going to talk to a guy tomorrow about a 93-94 extended cab 22re 5spd. Comes with 2 dead 22re's 1 bad top 1 bad bottom. If I can get the price I want the boy will have a lil project. He'll be 12 this year, it my not be a 4runner but we'll be working on his ride. "IF" I get the price to what I want.
