Optima battery?

Does anyone one know if an Optima 34 battery will work in a 34/78 Trail Gear battery tray?
Thank you, Phessor

I looked into the same questions couple weeks ago. They pretty much are the same battery, they just have different post and same measurements. You should be fine.

yep, 34 is the group size, same measurements. The 78 just means its a group 34 with gm side terminals

had one of my red tops on its side for years, i accidently left the power in my mustang on and drained the battery, jumpstarted the car and it charged with no probs at all. cant say the same for a yellow top
