I've never had any problems with my Die Hard batteries.

my history with optimas batts go back to around 1992/1993 when i first bought one before anyone knew what optimas were.
back then, they were a small company where, when i went to a trade show, guess who manned their booth. the president of the company.
next thing you know, they were bought out by a bigger company. i think the last company to buy them was johnson controls. they make tons of stuff and not just for cars.
so i think their QC dropped like a rock...

optima battery's are junk. had a yellow top in my honda, if i didn't drive it for a few days it would be dead. It completely died after 13 months. I will never buy one again.
