Open garage in St. Louis?
I'm looking for a garage put in a head gasket this coming weekend, hopfully around the Kirkwood area.
Long story, short. I moved to St. Louis and am staying with some friends until I find a place. However my head gasket blew. My friends don't have the room for me to replace my head gasket in their garage. I have all the tools and am happy to put down cardboard everywhere.
Want to give an extra hand once in awhile? I'll buy the beer and pizza.
I would be happy to give personal references and/or meet up before hand for meet and greet at a coffee house or bar.

Why do you need a garage to change a headgasket? I have a garage but its always so full of junk that I end up doing all my mehcanical work outside.
Sorry I can't help on the garage but if you ever need a place to wheel or parts I can help you.

Hi to the guys in St. Louis and sorry, there's already an engine replacement going on in my garage. No room at the inn.....good luck with your search.
If you're desperate what about renting one? I've no experience on that, it's just a thought.

heh, if your REALLY desperate...
One time when I was problably 18, with my buddy Jim... we did an intake swap at 2am in one of those 'self serve' car washes, oddly enough... we were able to drive in, do the work, and leave without issue.
Too bad your like 1500 miles away, I got a garage you could use.
