ok this will be my last question/attempted repair about and on my 1990 4runner.


ok i blew my 1990 22re so i replaced it with 1987 22re i was told they were the same but the i later heard that the 1987 had different connectors on the fuel injectors then the 1990 22re and since im useing the 1990 harnesse, so im going to go and get my 1990 22re fuel rail and injectors and put them on my 1987 22re. if that doesnt work im sending it to the junkyard and buying a pathfinder.

 

I dont see what your question is you just made statements.

I converted to a newer motor too just add the old harness onto the end of the new wires so it works.. its not that hard

i dont have the old harness. what i was asking is if what i heard was true. oh and will it run without the egr and the pair systems. i bought the motir without them and im just going to block them off.

 

I think maybe he was asking if it would work after he did the wiring swap?

 

yeah it will run with the egr. Not to sure about the pair system

 

no im not swaping the wiring im swaping the injectors and fuel rail, i was wondering if what i heard was correct
