Ok...Upper control arm HELP.........

OK, Everybook and tech write up says remove bushing bolts and arm mounting bolts.....Then remove arm.

I did the passanger side....and it Worked great. But the drivers just wont come out. I tried every which way. The steering shaft is in the way. Tried everything.

Do I really have to remove steering shaft to get the arm out?, It looks like it but want to ask to be sure.

no experience here but if you cant muscle it out then yes, you'll have to remove the steering shaft, theres alot of jobs on alot of different vehicles that the steering shaft makes a simple job difficult

Actually I got it with out removing shaft.

Got my trusty angle grinder and took off access sheet metal that is not needed. Then sanded and painted so you cant even tell I did it. Just a half an inch in one corner allowed the arm to get muscled out................

The bushing are horrible so I was determined to get it out and replace them.
