cam timing is lined up with the marks and so is the crank. all 6 ign wires are where they are supposed to be, im tellin ya, it sounds like timing to me to, but i get it at top dead center and set the dist...i just dont know what im missing here.
im about to have my boss tow this pig to the shop and have my smog tech check it out, but he'd charge me an arm and a leg.....

 

woooohooooo shes runnin!!!!!! she runs ok but has issues. but i'll get those weeded out. i really have no idea what fixed it, but i took out all the vacuum lines again and reset the timing. she takes a while ta start but when shes warm, she starts right up.....

drove her around the block today with the a/c, wow this sucka runs like it has some decent horsepower, now i know different, but you have to realize, i've only driven this runner with a blown headgasket and 2 burnt exhaust valves so to me, shes a runner.... then i found that because i let her sit, she decided that she would like new valve stems on her sooooo i'll take her to work and change them out. if it didnt have low tires she'd have got a little driven test and i never realized how cold that a/c was, probably cause i never used it...
