what do you mean your oil pump is leaking?
a picture or two of what you mean would help.
the oil pump on a 22re is driven off the crankshaft so a head gasket change should not affect the oil pump.
... unless you messed something up getting the timing chain installed.

I'll tell you straight up, you cannot get the timing chain installed properly without taking a lot of precautions and even then you can't guarantee that the marks line up without removing the oil pump and timing chain cover.
so start over like you were building a new engine- install the head, then the gears and chain, and then...

Or maybe “grammar, spelling, punctuation….”? My head hurts from trying to read that.

I'm glad he figured out what the problem was though.
