oil change question..

i feel stupid but i can find the drain bolt on my belly pan their is this bolt it looks messed up but does not look like the drain bolt..lol im sorry for my stupidity but can someone please help me out or show me a picture where it is.. thanks.

take a pic and post it up, it might be the the bolt if it is messed up

It should be towards the rear of the oil pan, kind of on the passenger side.

Dude, sounds like if you really want to work on your own stuff you need to hang out around a few shops and watch whats going on. Don't get me wrong , I'm not busting on you but this is about as easiest thing to do to your truck.. I understand if you haven't seen it done or been around it , you would not know, which is why you should hand around and watch people.. I could change oil when i was 10 years old, but i was always in the shop with my dad
