o2 sensor question eliminator
ok i have a 95 p/u 22re and it has cali emissions japan made model. now anyone know where i can get a mil eliminator thing for the rear o2 sensor i figure it would def be cheaper than the o2 sensor cause it just went bad.
also could it be that my cat is bad not the sensor? i dont think obd 1 would have the sensor after the cat i thought 96and up? all the mil eliminator pages have it for 96 and up trucks. please anyone with information please chime in
thanks

MIL eliminator?? What code do you have. Yes...some obd1 trucks have the second sensor after the cat. You need to fix it, not patch it. Your cat could be bad as well

yea i know i have the rear o2 sensor code cant remember the code off hand subclavinan o2 sensor somthin like that
all an mil eliminator does is fool the computer thinking the sensor after cat is functioning fine. ide rather get one of these this way down the line if the cat ever does go bad i can remove it and not have a problem

I made an "eliminator" for the 2nd O2 on my 3.4 swap.

Scroll way down for info. I don't know enough about them to say whether a similar design would work for what you are trying to do. But there are some links I have listed as well which might give you some more info.
