I love to hear that our toys are reaching that many miles, but unfortunatly with time and wear you never know what sensors could be bad, go through your whole truck and check all sensors. O2 would prolly be the best bet though.

Yay Toyota! Thats a lot of miles. My dad had a 22re go 350k with only a clutch job - hopefully your experience was similar with minimal maintenance.

Sounds like it's time to replace the o2 sensors. Pretty minimal maintenance considering how many miles you've got on that thing. You might even improve fuel economy.

What kind of maintenance has your tuck required?

do a compression test, and look for any cylinders that are way below 140 psi. I would suspect a leaking valve, especially if if idles kinda of ruff, and smooths out when you rev if up, and with an engine that old anything is possible. whatever the cause the engine is likely running to rich........start going through the motions

Could be a wiring or sensor issue:

check the wiring for cracking, melted insulation, etc. and if OK, consider a new Denso O2 sensor if the one you have is of unknown age.
