just bought a new Bosch universal o2 sensor for my 3.0. the wires on the sensor are grey, black and two whites. the wires coming off the truck are blue, white and two blacks. Anyone know how i should match them up? thanks

I replaced mine with a universal one, and I know for sure that the two blacks are for the heater and are not polarity sensitive. The blue wire on the truck is, or should be, the sensor wire, and the gray is the ground. For sure the two blacks go with the two whites.

I believe that the black sensor wire is the ground, but I am not totally positive about that. I will take a look if I get a chance tomorrow.

mine came with instructions on how to wire it into a harness, not how to hard wire it which is what i need to do because the harness has been cut off.

Yours came with the twist-together inline splices right? ... and the instructions say to cut the O2 sensor wires and splice to the plug so the plug to O2 length is the same with the Bosch as it was for the stock?
Since you don't have the plug, you'll just bypass the cut to match part. Try to keep the wires as short as possible, allowing some room for routing and tucking the wires up. And to speed up getting the ECU to learn the new O2, pull the efi fuse for a few minutes.
