o2 sencor Qs

o2 sencor Qs
I bought my truck and it does not have any power and it has no o2 sencor but I only have two wires and what does the o2 wires do mane interest what does the heating wires doing? do I really need them if I just have the ground and signal wire will that do
they would be helpful

sorry it is an 88 3.0 v6
so I got told that the heating wires were to heat up the sencor faster than the motor could buy itself so if i hook them up to power would that do the job of preheating the o2 sencor
