NWOR Skidplate Quality
Are the skidplates from northwest offroad good (strength, price installation)? And if not, what ARE good skidplates for the money? I want them for a '94 4WD xtra-cab pickup. I was also thinking about getting the sonoran steel IFS truss, but are there any problems with the installation of a skidplate if this is installed?

budbuilt
not only are budbuilt skids the best, bud is also a really cool guy. everytime I called NWOR I hung up feeling either pissed off of simply angry. I have a budbuilt front skid and xmember/skid and they look awesome and are really beefy. also he ships fast

nerf
I second axleike, this would be impossible and a really bad idea.
think of nerf bars as really cheap cheesy sliders. you can't have both, it's either or.
I think you mean is 'what about (ARB/TJM/WARN) bumpers front and rear and (Stubbs/Demello) sliders along with full budbuilt skids?'

Bud Builts!
Yeah...I am a Bud Built cheerleader. Just this past weekend I went over some stuff that tweaked my bed upwards and bent my heavy rear bumper. The Bud Builts took all the underbelly punishment with ease. I drove it out of the woods. :-)
Bud is great to deal with and will answer any questions you have. I recommend dropping the extra for the complete belly pan. You will NOT be sorry.

if you have a welder you could build a bumper, it's a cheap alternative to buying one. if your looking for sliders you can get a set of trail-gear sliders for pretty cheap. you just have to weld the legs on

I agree with you. I just called to ask for prices on their transfer case skidplate and IFS crossmember skidplate, and I was informed that they no longer carry them. I can't figure out why they still have them listed on the website if they no longer carry them . Also, the guy interrupted me a lot, and put me on hold 2 times. His excuse was that he was the only receptionest out of five, which really says something about them, and not in a good way . I think I'll just save up a few hundred more dollars and go budbuilt, or do what norcalsvx said and get them custom fabricated
