Nut size for the front exhaust pipe?
I'm missing 2 of the three nuts that hold the front exhaust pipe to the manifold. Can you guys help me out? Thanks!

Thanks for the info folks! I'll visit the nuts at the dealership for the nuts. My exhaust leak is driving me nuts! Sometimes you feel like a nut! Sometimes you don't! Ahhhh, enough already!
Thanks again everybody!

on the subject of these exhaust studs and nuts - anyone got any tips on removing a broken stud from the head? high quality screw-type easy out with lots of liquid wrench? i've had a square-shaft easy out break on me before and extracting that broken piece was not fun just don't want it to happen again. this would be the #1 stud (front) of the bottom row on a 22re's exhaust manifold.
FYI, regarding the studs...2 weeks ago I went to a dealer near my work to pick up one of the 3 studs that connects the downpipe to the exhaust manifold/header and he gave me a new stud + nut that looks exactly like the compromised one. Ended up having to remove the manifold to extract the messed up stud and discovered that I had a broken stud at the head and the remaining piece was just floating in the hole. So last week I went to a different dealer to pick up more studs and he came out with a "newer style" stud that has a torx head (star pattern) on it so you can tighten down the stud and said they are the studs that dealers currently use for all their exhaust studs. After examining these new studs I immediately noticed that they were slightly shorter than the originals and called the guy on it. He said that my studs were really old (factory) and that what he gave me, he guaranteed they were the correct ones. Long story short, I installed one stud until it seated all the way in and put the exhaust manifold back on to test fit...no threads sticking out, just a torx head and maybe one thread! So the newer style studs may not work for you as they didn't for me - the threads that seat into the hole were the correct length, then the blank part was the same, but the threads that get used for the nut were about 1/2" shorter than the originals. I had to go back to the first dealer dealer and order the old style studs because just my luck he only had the same ones that the other dealer had and didn't have any more of the one I bought 2 weeks prior.
Oh yeah - the 1st dealer I went to charges $2.50 per stud (Davis Toyota) and the 2nd dealer charges $5 per stud (Roseville Toyota), hmmm....looks like I know where I'm buying my parts from now on.
