okay first, shut the hell up.
Second do you even know what the hell you are talking about?
The 3.0L is a great engine, I would take it over a 22re any day! Regular upkeep and the engine will run forever. I regulary take mine over 5,000rpm and she still runs like a top.
Get an education stupid!

Wow! some people really love the 3vz. I do not.

I've done 3 3.4l swaps now, the most I have paid was $2500 for my first engine, and the last 2 engine were both $1500. I used the ORS harness and the crossover. The harness makes the swap very "bolt in" and easy for the weekend wrench. I also purchased some of the specific perts from ORS like the battery tray, fuel line, and the P/S hose. 2 of the swaps total cost was under $2500, this price is cheaper then most reman 3vz, and way cheaper then a full rebuild with pistions, cams (hp), full valve job, and the other heards and stuff you want.

the 7mge/gte is not a bolt in for your truck. It will require engine mount mods, a new tranny (w56) and this engine is older. 7mge/gtes have head issues as well, they like to pop gaskets without mods. Head gaskets usally pop around 70-100k, they are prone to over heating. 7m engines should be way cheap ($500t-1000) cause they are old.

Stay out of the deep water, get some water proofing, rock on

I have the 3vze motor and it is a great motor. I have had no engine problems, i have 150, xxx miles on it. i have run it up to 5000+ with no noises that lead me to believe anything is wrong. Sounds way better than my moms sube, rev that thing out and let off the throttle sounds like the timing chain is going to snap. I really like the 3.0

Ive never had a 3.slo as you all call them but from what ive read about them, I will never buy 1 unless its dirt cheap.. Ive had several 22re's and there a fine engine.. Not a whole lot of power but, they will run forever, Ive never owned 1 with under 200 on it.. I wouldn't know how to act with a new 1
