The rubber line connects to the pressure regulator and it is your return line.
There is also a vent line that goes to the fuel tank from the charcoal canistor.
Three lines to the tank in total.

thanks very much... that hard line off the regulator must be tucked under there just right, i looked around for awhile. haha
