no power

hey guys new to the forum, i have a 94 pickup 3.0 vze, just did an engine swap and the truck starts and runs fine. when im driving it it is sluggish at best and has no power. i have all new wires ,plugs, distributor, rotor. you get the point. any suggestions. i know the motor ran and heard it prior to buying it. thanks

Never underestimate the "power" of human error. With engine swaps being quite the undertaking, it can be taxing on memory (mine for sure).

Back tracking is the best suggestion out there. Sorry. Really have to double check. I had to look and feel behind part of my engine for a disconnected temp sender ground after an invasive job on my 4runner.

Man did I use my mirror and it still left me scratching my head.

With sluggish symptoms, I would think of checking for vac leaks, throttle position, carb buildup, sensor dysfunctions, anything in the engine replaced, and so on.
