anyone know where to get good replacement windshield trim from?

Ive found it online before,cant remember where.

Ive always been told its a dealer only part, if you can rember were you saw it let us know.

Try car stuff Elkdog.When I was in colorado I had a windshield man come out and the glass install was only 137$ including 10$ for a new upper trim piece.Have you tried auto anything?

i asked at the dealer a while ago the parts guy said it was gonna be a bit over 300 bucks for just the trim.

that was also in Canadian dollars

Ebay is a good place to look.I know 300$ is about 260$ to much.Windshield shops get trim dirt cheap,I know this from talking to the guy that put my glass in 2 months ago.

whats wrong with the old, i had my W/S done today with flying colors, well sorta, there was a bit of rust

Nothing wrong with old trim usually,but my whole top piece was missing when I bought my 4Runner.The other 3 pieces were re-used.They only charged me 10$ for the top piece,4x10 is 40.Any more then that your getting into the " Im getting screwed zone ".

Oh BTW congrats on the new glass,I was thrilled to get mine.The old glass was pitted X a trillion and had a crack the whole bottom length.It is good to see where your going! haha
