New Truck - 91 4runner

Just picked up my new truck tonight. 1991 4Runner V6 auto. I was hoping for a 5spd, but the price was too good to pass up. Fully Loaded, no rust and runs strong. Only downside is the truck's getting close to 300xxx km's. There are a few small issues with the truck, and I also have a few questions.

Issue 1: Fan only works on low setting. doesnt work on any other setting.

Issue 2: Trans will not shift into OD when the motor is cold.

My final question is I would like to know all the peices I would need to get from a junkyard to switch to a 92+ headlight setup? Are the rad supports the same between the 2 styles?

Oh, and pics will be up tomorrow.

1) yep - resistor pack

2) the ECU tells it to work that way to help the engine warm up faster

You don't want to switch the headlights - the "trapezoidal" ones SUCK. Stick with the square ones and swap in some Hella Vision Plus housings - the light pattern will be 100000000000x better.

Found a New issue aswell. The oil pressure gauge reads really low, but I slapped a pressure gauge on the system and I have good pressure. maybe a sensor is worn?

It would be insane for Toyota to have different core supports ... I bet the proper holes are really there...
