New tires, New discovery and a little mod

Alright so yesterday i picked up a set of new BFG A/t ta ko's in the 31 10.5 size
I know thats nothing special to some of you guys that run 35's, but with little money coming in i dont have money for gears or else i would step up to some 33's
She rides like a caddy now compared to my old tires

Then...im under my truck trying to figure out where my horendous shakes and viberations have been coming from, it started before the new tires btw.
aparently my CV boot retainer clip came off, or was non existant

and my hubs were not unlocking...fixed the shakes

and heres my little mod..
His name is smokey..
The story behind him...
I got it in a happy meal when i was like 6 riding in what turned in to be my 1st truck...my dad velcroed him to the dash cover.
After i wrecked it i had to give him a new home

Sweet! I've got the same tires on my '93. I love them. They are on their death beds though..maybe 30% tread left.. They actually handle and grip very well on the ice and in the snow for me.

I havent had a chance to get offroad with them yet so we will see.

And yes, they are all terrains, they are a bit more on the "terrain" side then most other A/T's which I like, but they offer a 3 ply sidewall and a semi aggresive tread pattern.
All in all im excited with the buy.

Oh and toyota4x4907...How long did yours last you ? This is the first time i've ever bought tires and i have no clue

Scuba, i had a set on my 4runner when i bought it, and they have over40,000 miles on them and still go up to a little over Lincoln's head on the penny.

Thinking about keeping your truck now?

Nice!

Those tires arn't bad. They are pretty good for an All terrain, being used off road. Im sure i would have liked them better if they had more tread on them when i got them!

Lol, thinking back, when i first when to check out my 4runner, it was stock and my stepdad, said wow, you wouldn't need any tires bigger than those(31's). and i completely agreed

Now i have 33's and want to move up! lol

Actually ive seen ones like mine on craigslist for like 80-100 bucks.

i was thinking of maybe posting it for 50. maybe a little more with the hellas

Oh yea i have some cobra two way radios, maybe $30?

Omg, i don't know if its sad im trying to sell stuff, cause i need some more cash( well i don't need more, nvm yes i do, all this stuff is just laying around taking up space) , or cause i bought all that crap in the first place???? well, practically everything was off the toyota from stock. Running boards, tires, misc. parts, grill guard. etc....
