ok so im back workin on a new rig, got a 91 sr5 4runner.. i swapped an engine in it, and got it all hooked up runnin good again and when i was installing a new stereo in it i didnt unhook the battery like an idiot and one of the wires hit the threshhold that holds the radio intact and it shorted out.. now my stereo wont work, clock and overhead lights wont work.. i have checked the fuses in the kick panel and all are good. is there another fuse or something that could have gone out that would cause all of these to stop working? my headlights work, heater works, im sure my windows work.. but yea, let me know your ideas

 

any ideas anyone?

 

does the radio have a fuse? mine did

 

look in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side...

 

nice thanks guys. my dome fuse was blown under the hood and i will check for an in-line fuse or something on the radio. i gotta charge my battery to see if it worked
