Smile New Radiator, install help

1990, ext cab, 4WD, 22RE, A340F trans, just picked up an all aluminum 2 row radiator. I bought the truck with a bad trans and did not want to reuse the radiator. I donated the old radiator to a friend to replace his cracked one, because he has a 5 speed, and didn’t need the trans cooler part of it.
This unit has the two fittings for the transmission lines but they are just bolted on, do you think that I should use some sort of Teflon tape to seal the treads? I’d like to do that with it out of the truck so that it’s easier, just wanting to avoid having to do it after, if it starts leaking and have little room to do it.
Anyone have any experience with an after market aluminum radiator and an auto trans?

if i understand what you wrote, you have a 5 speed and a new radiator. you don't need to do anything with the piping for transmission lines...just leave them alone, there's nothing in there......just hook up your radiator hoses and you are good to go.

He's got an A340 which equals a slushbox.
