New pics of 3 MINT 1st gens

Here are some pics from my buddies house that we took a while ago. The special edition is mine and the other two are his. The dark red one is a 89 (mint and stock) and the built one is an 88 v6 with 35s and a warn winch.

What comes in the special edition package? The guy I bought my 4runner told me it was special edition, but I haven't found anything different about it.

Hey...a menage a trois, even. Every young man's dream.

Nice set of 4rnr's. Wish my house looked like that. It'd be such a dilemma...."hmm...which one to drive today?".

well, there really isnt anything too special about it to be honest lol. Im pretty sure Special Edition 4runners were only available in canada and came in special two tone paint only. They had also came with really nice seats (better than the sr5s). But thats pretty much were it stops. They all had 22re's, base model interior (minus the seats). Mine does have AC however. I heard that in 1989, the two top choices were the SR5 or the Special Edition follwd by the DLX and base etc. If anyone has any other information id love to know more too.
