Like you, I have funding issues, but my hopes and dreams are maxing out the IFS. I've already installed the 4" bracket (ProComp) and the 33111 rear springs and longer shackles. Next will probably be TC long travel, and a T100 rear axle (so the rear track width is close to the front) and figure out what to do to add lift to the rear to match the front- probably a spacer / ladder bar combo... but who knows.

Last time I got close to my goal, a new president was elected and I lost my job, and haven't had consistant work since.
How much did you spend on the PC springs if you don't mind me asking? Cause I know its gonna take me at least a month to cover funds before I can even begin to think about new springs. It's a good thing I had the 6" shackle to comp for the added height but wished it was back at 17" vs 16". I took the BJ spacers out but might put them back in to help with the travel and setting the TB back to factory specs. Wonder if I purchased 3"-4" springs (w/ the 6" shackles) to see if which one would be the better combo for a little rake in the rear but help level it out once the top is on.....
But damn, sorry to hear about your hardship. Everything happens for a reason, but it doesn't mean you have to quit at what you love to do! Someday we'll get to our goals.....but lets be honest, we're going to always WANT MORE out of our projects no matter what! I don't think "settling" is on my vocabulary, LOL. Much luck to you sir and thanks for the help!

The springs were like $110 each when I bought them a few years ago from ORW. Had urethane bushings and were shiny black.
I thought about mix/match leafs for things but my time versus cost... well, you get the meaning.
The shackles I bought were like 2" over stock and around $50.

My 4Runner is mostly level- I use it for work so when empty, it has rake: the front is lower than the rear but when loaded up for work it's pretty much level flat.

I can shoot some pictures of it after the sun comes up, if you want.

I admit they work great on a stock suspension vehicle but can limit what a vehicle with a suspension lift (like the OP has) can do.
idk about you but im using the same coil over as 4runner guy, maybe he isnt using the same shocks but i can flex mine out pretty good.

flexy springs = lost of payload and i remember you actually use your runner to carry some weight

I have the ProComp ES9000 for the rears and they're decent for the money. I used the Zuk mod method and love it but with the extra height from the lift, its not working out well with the look of my truck. Maybe either go with some FJ80 coils might help with the height I need to achieve....dang the options! (leaf springs or coils?)
And yes, i used the black magic springs (14 125lbs) to carry a ton of oranges but have recently swapped over to the 99' coils from a runner like what you did but with the longer 16" coils. And btw, nice flex man!

I'll check the site out. Wouldn't mind spending $200-250 for a set of good springs. I was thinking of All Pro but they're in the mid $300 and that's really pricy and not to mention that you would need to relocate the hangers too so add some more costs to that, which only gets more expensive. 4wheelparts has super lifts springs for $260 for a pair, but haven't heard much review on them. But yeah, send some pics, Would love to get an idea of what the truck look likes to give me a better perspective.

all pro ones are not made to handle weight
how much of a lift are you looking to get. why not just adjust the front T bars to even out the height

My plans are to place the BJ spacers back in, so the front should sit exactly where it is today when the T bars are relaxed. I hear that the FJ80 coils are 2" longer than the 99' 4runner coils so I'm going to go that route cause I do love the way the truck handles with those coils on vs the leaf springs.

Zuk Mod on steroids!!!!!

Ok guys, as promised, sorry it took a while to post pics but I've been rather busy. I got a used set of FJ80 coils and placed them in my suspension and so far so good. Only cons about the setup is that the leaf pack I had swapped out for from the 92 pickup are kind of bouncy and its getting annoying when you can feel every small bounce. So on to the pics!
Here is a before shot with the 99' coils and old suspension setup (Truck sat at 16" in the rear from top of the lip of the rim to the fender):

Pics of the 99' 4Runner coils:

And the leaf pack I swapped my main leaves for:

And here is the AFTER shots (94 FJ80 coils, 18" from tip of the top rim to fender; 2 inch of lift from the coils!):

FJ80 coils:

And some curb flex!! LMAO

I know my rear diff looks like its leaking but its not, I over spilled some fluids so it just stained the housing. Oh, and the oil spots you notice on the pavement are off of my brothers leaky 90' Prelude, not mine!

I noticed that your oem pack had a stiff add-a-leaf in it plus the springboard. That aal was responsible for the stiff ride there....

I see, well, that makes sense! I think that's the over load leaf right? I took that off and placed it on the bottom hoping not to get any type of "axel wrap," which I am experiencing a small bit of that. It is a bit stiff and bouncy at the moment and it's been an issue for ride quality. Thx for the insight Zuk, I'll look into that and correct it by taking the AAL and spring board off ASAP.
