Do you know of any write ups with pics of replacing a 22re clutch? Im sure I could do it if I had a step by step. And I have buddies that will help out. I just wouldnt have a clue where to start if I didnt see how its done first. Never done a clutch, or much anything with a motor for that matter. But I learn fast.

I paid 150 something for my clutch from TG. I'll eventually get round to installing it. I think the slave cylinder is $80 from parts america.
Once again, any write ups on this process?

No, mines a v6.. My bro did most of the work but it was rather straight forward and we only had to refer to the FSM like once.. I'm sure there's a writeup somewhere around YT or interweb.

So I picked up the truck today. Ended up getting it for 2g's even. After driving it a bit the clutch doesnt seem all that bad. I dont know how I over looked it when I bought it...I never do this...but I forgot to check the oil. Checked it at work and theres zilch. Kinda scaring me. What should I run in it? Its got 160k. 20w-50?

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

Ok quick questions. The seats in my 92 22re is a bench seat. I want to swap in the bucket style ones from my 92 v6. Are the mounting wholes the same? Or am I gonna have to modify a bit?

Also, will I be able to install the center console from the truck with the buckets as well? Looks like it will fit right in.

Or, what are some of you doing for a console when you have a bench style front seat?

well, seeing as the trucks bodies are all produced the same, i would say yes...
my sister put Celica seats into her 87 with a bench seat, but she didnt change the center console over... probably need to just drill osme holes in the floorboards and bolt(or screw) it down...
if you do it, then take pics!!
