New clutch and im still stumped

after reading the last part this came to mind. thinking more along the lines of a pressure plate that just dosnt have the holding strength u need for the tires and age of running gear. now it could be a bearing or something in the tranny that is going bad causing the tranny to cause the clutch to slip.
2nd make sure the fork is in the right location and not pushing on the throw out bearing and causing it to push on the pressure plate.
the clunk u hear is more then likey the rear tranny mount and when pressure let off by pushing in clutch the tranny sits back down on the mount.
