New clutch engages RIGHT off the floor

It's a pain in the butt because I have to have the pedal mashed to get it in and out of gear smoothly. How do I get rid of this? Freeplay adjustment? Which way do I want to go, add freeplay or decrease it?

The pedal adjustment may help. Also, make sure it's bled well.

You may not want to hear this but the pivot point for the throuw out fork is adjustable. You may have screwed it in at some point or it may have found is way out. This can cause this sort of problem. I don't think you cna get at it when the trans is in the truck.
