new bumper valance?

want a few opinions on my lower valance... im thinking about either cutting off the sides below the turn signals or getting a new one off ebay... they are on there all the time for around $50 shipped... here is how the truck looks now (i have removed the brush guard to repair the rust and paint it)

and I've always wondered why the slats on the brush guards are horizontal instead of vertical... I'd think a few verts would keep branches away from the lights far better than horizontals....
oh, it's for the light patterns... so one vert on each side of the headlight... there.

too many people just take it off... personally, I don't like the look of it removed... it shows too much IMO

take a look at Jay351's (well, before he got his MC), maybe he'll post some pics I really liked the way he had his; gives you the clearance, and it's a pretty good look too

i like that one... i might be able to bend mine enough to get it to look decent like that one... i don't want to completely remove it since i have a BL (im not a fan of them but thats for another topic) and it would show too much of the frame with no valance
