Need some help guys

Haven't washed my runner in about 4 months so I decided to rinse it off this morning. When I was done I started it up to back it into my garage and when I shut it off the e fan was still running and that's never happened before. So I looked at it and heard a sizzle. The sizzle was coming from this.

I don't know how long it's been broken since I haven't washed this thing in forever but I assume it's been a long time cause the pins are pretty well oxidized. But it was shorting cause the water was forming a link. So I pulled the battery ground and the grill and took it off. It had a ground behind it for something else. Took it off and left the plug as is. Turned the truck back on and probed the leads and had no voltage going to it. I have no idea what this is. But the e fan still ran only with the engine running. But it usually only will turn on if the Ac is on? Is this some sort of temp thing? Anyone have any idea what this is? I assume I can still drive around cause I have been for I don't know how long with it broken. I could use some help figuring out what this is. Can't find anything in the search or in my manual.

It was bolted to the cross core support right here behind the Ac lines to the right of the radiator and e fan.
