can anyone tell me the acual toyota labor rate to do a in house engine rebuild on a 22re engine.that means not removing the engine. But putting in pistons and rings and rolling in the bearings I have done many of theses engines but i have never had to give someone a labor estimate. Oh by the way this is a 4x4

 

Dealership most likely will quote the book rate + any overages

The shop I used to install a new engine, quoted a flat rate + overages
Their shop rate is $95/hr

 

I am sorry i did not mean labor rate i meant labor time the amount of time to do the job
