Need new gas lift shocks on windows or hood?

I've been putting up with half dead shocks on the windows of my cap for ages now. Keep thinking that finding the right part would be a PITA.

Now that I'm fixing all the niggly little problems that have cropped up over the years I attacked this one too.

I was right, finding them was a PITA. But I found a guy on fleabay who was super friendly and helpful. He took the info I had off my shocks, found the ones I needed, created a new auction and combined shipping (6x shocks) and 2 days later I had them in hand.
Installation was a snap.

I should have done this ages ago, best $69 I've spent on my truck in a while.

So for those of you putting up with half dead lift shocks on windows, hesitate no more. Contact these guys and get yourself a new set.

Most times they fail with ease it seems on most cars since you use them alot.

Good find, i will keep it in mind for any used caps I may find as they will need them. Coincidently my camry had similar shocks for opening the hood, they are 60/ea from yota!
