need more power out of my 22 re

I have a 94 Toyota pick up with a 31s running 22 re it has a electric fan I have a intake a throttle body spacer I've done the exhaust headered high flow muffler its cammed is the next step injectors or what any advise would be great everything is lcenginering I have on it

Unless you spend WAY more money its tough to get a big HP gain. Then again the beauty of these low power engines is they don't break.

You might be able to squeeze a bit more power out of it by advancing the timing a few degrees. You'll probably need to use premium gas and have a functional EGR so it won't ping. I run 3 degrees advanced from specs, that's the limit for passing the smog check in California.

Need more power change your gears.

Do a swap to a more powerful engine.

Strip all the un needed weight out of the truck.

Horse Power gains in a 22R series engine are very expensive for little gain

Maybe just run it at a higher rpm. When are you shifting?
