Need help regarding "Hesitation or stumble during acceleration"
Hey, guys. My 87 SR5 4Runner just started doing this today. I am curious if anyone else has had this problem with theirs, and knows how much any of the fixes may cost?
Haynes lists these as the possible fixes--
1. Ignition Timing Incorrect
2. Ignition system not operating properly
3. Dirty or clogged carburetor or fuel injector
4. Low fuel pressure. Check for operation of the fuel pump and for restrictions in the fuel filter and lines
5. Carburetor out of adjustment (Should not apply as I have efi, correct?)
A couple days ago I bought some Seafoam and poured it into the gas tank to clean the fuel injectors, and now this is happening. I have a hard time believing that this is a coincidence. I have not messed with anything else...
Thanks for looking, interested to see what you all can offer in advice or thoughts.

As far as checking the spark plugs, I could look at them all day, but I have no idea what I would be checking them for.
Thanks for your response.

Have you ever changed the fuel filter ?, that would be a good place to start, and go from there, its possible that the sea foam broke loose some crap in the fuel system and it might have worked its way to the fuel filter.
