need help explain parts??

I have a 86 T4R but installed a 87 22RE engine. I used my ECU, wiring harness. That 87 was an automatice. Everything plug up like a charm. I have a slight miss firing and suspect a vacuum issue. I have extra vacuum hoses that do not connect to anything. Car runs great with alittle trouble of starting, which is another issue. this image is for a 88 22RE, but these are the 2 items circle in red is my question.

What is the AS REED VAVLE? What does it do? I sure dont have one and therefore cant plug up my VSV? The other valve or sensor circle next to the VSV. WTF is it?? I am frustrated to the point where i can not find anything about this.. Please please do help. Unfortunately, these are the only diagrams i was able to find online or via my 88 22re FSM...

Im not sure about the vacuum lines for the reed valve, but if your truck never had the reed valve then just plug the vacuum lines. The VSV on the valve cover is for the fuel presure regulator..

Oh BTW, my VSV is dead too...Did a OHM test and nothing happen. I blew air into the valve and it was good though..

IF ANYONE HAS A VSV FOR SALE I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE IT OFF YOUR HANDS..
