Name these parts....
Near the end of buidling my 92 pickup 5sp 4x4 up i ended up with some parts I have no clue what to do with, for some reason i cannot get my passenger side corner light or my hazards/blinkers to work. Thought maybe this wiring had something to do with it.
also cant figure out what this is...something to do with the airbox? I dunno...

Thanks for any help, i got my first yota in literally a dozen boxes...but its been fun!

that cluster of wires looks aftermarket
some sort of relay and fuse holder assembly... maybe for some old fog lights
the little plastic ring goes on the inside of the engine bay, on the fender wall. it's bassically a wire grommet that a cluster of wires passes through
I guess it's possible that without that grommet in place, one of the wires for the lights has rubbed and shorted, and that could be why they're not working

Alright cool, that explains the plastic piece and your probably right about the wires. Thanks superbleeder! Love your build up thread, very inspiring, also the cluster gauge swap, plan on doing that soon. I dont think that any wires have worn yet, the po built the thing from the frame up and then stopped at the engine. Frame and body has 92,xxx miles on it, so I dont think the wire rubbing is very plausible.
