im gonna blame this on teuf. he told me to slow down and drink a beer. well, my hand slipped and after i stopped cussing and kept bleeding i took a picture. some sort of air temp or something? i dont know, but it does remove mass amounts of skin, fyi.

its the black one next to the green one if you missed it.

He's talking about the one NEXT to the green one, which is the cold start injector timer switch. Very expensive...I would suggest junkyarding.
You can check the resistance on that with an ohm meter to see if you have found a good one. Refer to the FSM for the in depth explanation.

If the internal wires aren't broken, you can use some JB Weld to put it back together. I did this on my wife's '92 3vze after it had broken in a wreck. Works just fine.

CSI is cold start injector. You need the time switch, bubba. Not gonna try and fix it, eh?

That's his alias on the trans forums. He likes his rainbow colored mohawk to be stroked......slowly and gently. He'd never admit it around here, though. Hence his YT pet name.....ClosetCougar.

no fixin it; looks like somebody broke it in half, bent a pin, and tried to cram it back in there. is there a resistance value or anything on it that i can test when i go to the yard to find a newer one?
