My truck can't be that slow!
Encountered a lifted solid axle 4runner (80's, no front driveline, sr5, approx 38" tires!) today on the interstate. We were both going uphill and I passed on the right lane. I gave him a thumbs up and he floored it. I dropped down to 3rd and floored it too. We were neck and neck until we were approaching cars and he had to slow down
Anyway, is it possible for this runner to be that fast stock? My guess is is it had a chevy 350. I doubt a 3.0 could keep up with my little 22re considering what we were both driving. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, only reason why I passed on the RIGHT is because I saw he had the "back off" gay mud flaps on his 4 runner so I had to see if it was a4runnerfreak

Oh yeah, only reason why I passed on the left is because I saw he had the "back off" gay mud flaps on his 4 runner so I had to see if it was a4runnerfreak

no way man I love reading your posts, I get some good lulz from a lot of them. ...like the time you pulled your truck out of the ditch by wrapping the strap around the radiator LOL

Dude, my 3.0 would run circles around your lil 22re in reverse, let alone in any forward gears! And for your info, I don't run mudflaps on my BEAST. But it does say "POWERED BY YOUR MOM" on the back window.....!

From a stop my buddy's lifted 88 3.0 5spd. SAS on 35s and 4.88's was pulling away from me slowly and I have a rebuilt (stock) 22re with full exhaust but with an auto / 4.30s and 30's.
