My Rig, #5 OFF PRODUCTION LINE

I was @ Toyota today pickintg up some parts for my tune up, and they told me that my rig was the 5th one off of the production line. The person @ toyota told me that the condition that it was in was almost mint, and that the rig might be worth more then I think. Any of you think that this is true?

I have a 1995 4runner.............................

that's cool, but how does that make it worth more money and to who? Maybe if toyota was going to buy it back it might be worth more to them.

But as a buyer i don't know that i would want to pay extra money for it, especially since they have been making that body style for 4 years prior.

maybe the last 2nd gen ever built...

Not trying to dis your ride, I'm sure it is nice and if it is in mint it is worth more than the competition.

i could see it being more money if it was a 1965 or something old and rare but the 4-runner is not quite that rare yet.

I'm not sure what you mean by #5 off the line. 5th that year? That day? 5th for that particular production facility?

I'm kinda slow, so bear with me here.

Whatever the case, it might make it worth more, but only to the right person or entity. Sounds like it is more of a cool conversation piece than actually adding value. That's just my opinion, and I have never been accused of being smart.

I don't see it being worth anymore than any other 4runner in the same condition. Unless there is some crazy guy out there who is nuts for the 5th off of the line 2nd gen 4runner.

I'm betting Sunrise Toyota right Keith? Best Toyota dealer around us. I'm in Lindenhurst.

Pretty cool rig. I'm in the process of trying to make my '91 not so stock.
