haha but sas takes time and money that not everyone has.lol unless your gonna be doing some extreme crawling or mudding you dont need to sas, ifs will be just fine

ya man, get bj spacers you will love em. its bout 100 bucks for the spacer and bout 50-100 for a read add a leaf or shackle. that will let ya fit 33's tastefully

ya and about the hubs not locking are the dials easy to move or are they hard to move??? with my locking hubs i gotta get a pair of pliers to turn em. its time to get em rebuilt!!! lol

if you look at pics its still ifs. maybe the po changed the rear axles or cv axles???

They turn a certain amount of the way then just stop. The one is about 90% of the way till lock and the other stops at about 40%. I just hit them both with some PB Blaster, see if that does the trick.

Will do, i think i'm gonna hit it a few more times thorough the day.

It runs good except in the low RPM's, it tends to bog down and run really jerky. I'm picking up a set of plugs and wires today, see if that helps. If not, i'll get some new injectors, i ran some injector cleaner through it already. Anything else i should do?

Yeah fuel filter(have fun doin that. There's an axcess hatch in the PS wheel well) pcv valve.. seafoam treatment if ya want

I forgot to mention the fuel filter, im also gonna change all the fluids. And i may seafoam but it scares me.

omfg..when the P.O. said he replaced an axle..theres about a 99% chance he's talking about a CV axle.

and just because his lock outs don't lock, doesn't mean he needs to SAS......

rebuild kit for the hubs is el cheapo from wabfab

Now about the hubs, can i just pull them off without jacking up the 4Runner? Like take the 6 bolts off and go from there? Or do i need to jack it up?


On a good note, i changed the plugs, wires and oil today. She is now purring like a kitten, running like she did 244K ago...
