A bit, a short 90' elbow a a little trimming in the back solved it pretty much. It has about a 1/4 inch lip.

I see you put on a 40 series flowmaster...i have a '95 that i want to put exhaust on and I'm considering the 40 series. I have had lots of people tell me that the magnaflows are the way to go...The wife is worried that the 40 is too loud...how much quieter is the 50 series or shoud I do the 18" magnaflow? If you could post a sound clip that would be great! Thanks for the advice...

Hey why not get some manual locking hubs?
On your 4runner it's very cheap, and an easy switch, there is a writeup on it in the tech section I think.

I love 2nd generation 4 runners !

How do you like the locker in the rear ? I just purchased an
EZ locker for mine but do not have it yet. Mine 4 runner is automatic
so I am hoping for the best. snow and ice occasionally is also a concern
but I;m sure that I will learn to drive it.

Hey BGibb, I have a 95 with a Flowmaster 50 series (dumped, no tailpipe =) and its sounds awesome. When people hear it, they are surprised that the throaty tone is coming from a measly v6. I gotta get my picture updated too.
