just got done putting the 8" glasspack on my friends 22r 4 banger. its freaking loud!!! lol wont expecting that out of a 22r

haha ya man post pics in your build thread. loo but after hearing my friends truck today you should really consider the 8" glasspack. its alot deeper and louder than i thought it would be.

alright so im getting a new exhaust.. right now i have a flowmaster 40 with a dump before the rear axle and i was wanting to get the same muffler MAK has shown 1012832112 times with his 4 runner the borla turbo style. just i would want to dump it and i have a 22re.. what are your guy's opinions on this? oh, and ill be putting a header on once i get my tax returns haha.

you and I have already texted about this. but I took a chance with my borla turbo style, and it turned out cool. as far as i know no ones run a borla turbo style on their 22re... i say take a chance and do it.

kawasakimoto, i would highly recommend running a tail pipe, the drone inside the cab with the exhaust under it is a bit annoying.

oh yea, just gutted my cat (it was broken inside) and have the complete stock exhaust on it other wise.... it sounds OK, but i want a flowmaster 80 series really bad.. with 3" pipe from the muffler back.. should sound great..

a turbo style borla is about as close to a straight pipe as you can get. its a straight through muffler, or "free flow". flowmasters are chambered and create a muffled noise... where as a borla is completely see through from end to end.

oh gotcha. but your borla sounds nothing like a straight pipe. yours is way deeper with no crackle to it and a much better tone. haha

hah yea the drone for some reason i like.. anways the flowmaster is cool i like it i just want something thats top of the line really.. and thats where borla comes in. and the header that im gonna buy sometime soon is the pacesetter.. i dont care that its gonna crack and what not.. high temp paint.

lol yeah, it is chambered, but its a different style. if i could show you what it looks like i would. its basically a straight pipe with baffles on the inside of it which give the tone.

heres what my dads sounds like, its a header to high flow exhaust and i believe 3 in all the way back from header and i think it sounds good .... ????

Yeah, and the vibration is VERY annoying. You can feel your insides vibrating
