^^ Don't do that! When you have excessive blow by, the worst thing you can do is "Clean" the cylinder walls. You would likely get more blow by after using SeaFoam-I speak from experience... I had a lot of blow by on my '83 22R before I rebuilt it and ended up using Rotella 15W-40 diesel oil to alleviate my problems. It severely cut down my oil consumption and increased my compression. The Rotella has mild cleansing agents that reduce "sludge" build up without eliminating all the impurities on your rings and cylinder walls that your engine has become used to. Think of it this way, if you have blow by now with buildup on you cylinder walls then imagine how much MORE blow by you will get when you have less build up after "cleaning" it and creating more of a gap between the pistons and the cylinder walls. Rotella also works miracles on valve seals as well. If you have a good puff of blue smoke or maybe even some fine drops of oil coming out of your exhaust on start up then you most likely have some worn, cracked and/or deteriorated valve seals. Typically, the blue smoke will clean up to almost normal after a couple minutes is it is valve seals. Valve seals can be replaced without removing the head, but it is verrry tricky!

You also want to check your PVC valve to make sure it is working properly.

My truck has crazy blow by. Just add oil when you can and keep going till you can afford a swap or a rebuild

Okay that's for the help I've been running mobile 1 10w 30, but I think ill try the rotella and I know its not valve seals cus I already has them replaced and I jst replaced my PVC valve and I think my egr valve is stop up due to bad spark knock on acceleration and I switched over to 89 but it still didn't help
